Salvation By Grace Alone, Through Faith Alone, In Christ Alone

John 3 discusses the term "born again". It is a term to express the spiritual rebirth that occurs at salvation.

When you, from the heart, not just words from your head and mouth:
~ Admit that you are not perfect, that you do sin.
~ Ask God to forgive you for your sins.
~ Believe that Jesus died on the cross for YOU (grasping the reality that Jesus IS the FINAL atonement)
~ Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life.
    You are "born again"!

At that time God gives you a brand new Godly heart through His Holy Spirit, as it tells us in the following verse: Ezekiel 36:26-27. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws."

Romans 12:1-2 tells us "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.  Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

No person is perfect, and born again or not, we all have problems and times of stress in life. However gradually the perspective, behavior, and reactions of a born again believer begins to change as the person begins to be grown by God.

Let us make something very clear. You cannot earn your way into Salvation nor can you earn any "brownie points" with God by your actions after Salvation. It is NOT about what you do, but about what Jesus has already done.

God has a wonderful plan for your life.  You will never be the same again!
